Hello you beautiful soul

"Have you always wanted to be a writer?" seems to be the go-to question when discussing what I do and how I now have two published works {WHAT? Still pinching myself daily!} So let me answer that for the masses here: no. I just always have been. Always writing, mainly to process and communicate. I love everything from long, hand written cards and mirror messages to sticky note encouragements. 

 

Truth be told, I remember sketch books filled with designs before they transitioned to notebooks filled with words. I thrive designing a fit for any occasion but turns out I'm pretty horrible at drawing people. The designs in my head didn't quite translate to paper but the outfit descriptions- those were a different story! Before I knew it, I was writing every day. To process my big emotions as a little girl, then dating drama, which was followed by a lot a traveling journals {what a GIFT.}

 

So fast forward to Spring of 2023, I was in a horrible car accident and ended up voice to texting hundreds of pages. Now none of that has been transcribed yet, so hold your britches! BUT turns out when life quite literally flashes before your eyes- and God reminds you what's most important- you drop your stubborn and cling to hope.

 

My hope has always been writing. I've written something nearly every day for as long as I can remember. So my first book was pieced together from many different journal entries from many different notebooks. Turns out I think in spoken word pretty naturally and I REALLY love encouraging people. Hence the coloring book of affirmations and my precious first baby: Hopeful Romantic.
